About Myself

Lead the Process Engineering team at Metal Coaters, CA. Worked in various development projects and a lead member in Lean Production. Conduct R&D involving coil coating and increase production goals & EBITDA for the facility. Lead the engineering team across all metal coater facilities in united states. Directly manage 13 employees and oversee about 80 others in company. Previously worked as an Industrial Design Engineer at Mody Pumps Inc, Bakersfield, CA for 9 months. I designed a super high head pump for the company that increased the profits by 70%. I was also involved in designing the proprietary pump selection software for sizing "the right pump for the right application". Being cross-functional, was also a part of the continuous improvement team (kaizen, lean) and proposed to perform time studies to study the trends of workers and suggested improvements on the shop floor to increase efficiency. Managed project timelines and the budget for the project managers and engineers positioned in India.

Have a concrete foundation in Lean Six Sigma tools and certified Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma by RABQSA. Also certified in Solid works 3D modeling.

During my grad studies I was a Research Assistant under Dr. Aera LeBoulluec and was involved in doing Research on Time & Motion Studies. I have had two years of experience as a Research Assistant under the Dean of R&D and a faculty (Undergraduate) at Anna University. Have published two international papers during my undergraduate.
